Walking In A Winter Wonderland

Decorating for Christmas is such a simple joy. Everything from retrieving the box of last year's decorations from the hall closet to determining where to place the various cinnamon-scented pine cones around the house, I relish every moment of it. This year, our tree is bigger than last year, so the ornaments are a bit more spread out, but we rather like it that way. As I post this Dean Martin's "Baby It's Cold Outside" is playing in the background and I sit in front of our window watching this year's first snow in the District. But the very best part of Christmas decorations is having friends over to enjoy some of the Christmas sweets made in our kitchen.
