The 2nd Annual Christmas Tree Walk
The Annual Christmas Tree Walk involves purchasing a tree at a local farmer's market and walking it home. It takes about a half hour from start to finish, and the simplicity of our rather new tradition is certainly part of it's charm.
Once we get home with our little tree we rearrange the few pieces of furniture we have so that the tree can have a prime location. We decorate, watch Charlie Brown Christmas, and drink eggnog. The tree fills the house with the smell of evergreen and it officially feels like winter and Christmas have arrived.
It's hard to believe that this is our second Christmas as husband and wife!! It's been wonderful to prepare for another season of time with family and friends, Christmas cards, gingerbread, and Itunes Christmas music mixes.
What traditions do you love, be they old or new?
