On Friday night, Ken and I worked on pulling up the linoleum flooring and the carpets. We were eagerly anticipating the arrival of my parents to come and help with the demolition on Saturday. Here are a few pictures of the house once the carpets were gone (and the bags full of carpets), as well as a photo with our first dinner guests (who brought dinner with them!)

Those floors are going to be just gorgeous! Are you refinishing them yourselves or do you need a rec? We used Vanover's and they were great! They were the cheapest quote we got, and they did a fantastic job refinishing/repairing our floors upstairs.
