Friday Night Lights

When I finally put down the paint brush and looked at my watch, I realized it was 11:30pm. Some how we worked our way through all of Friday evening in our exciting (and very warm) house.

The full night of work was due in no small part to amazing friends who came to help us put shellac primer on the walls (to seal in the nicotine smell and stains) and move our radiators (so the floor guys can finish the floors under the radiators.)

A special thanks to JT and LT, and EB who more than doubled our work last night. It's amazing all that you three accomplished last night- thank you for all of your hard work and your company.

On a semi-related note, I'm planning to keep those lamps you see in the background. The previous owner left them behind, and I think a good cleaning and a nice coat of paint might make them nice additions to our worldly possessions. Eventually when I get around to that, I'll be sure to post pictures and info on that process because its so easy anyone can do it!

We're off to Community Forklift this morning to pick up some molding for the master bedroom, and maybe a few other things along the way.
