My Kind of Town

A few favorite photos from our first day in Chicago. The clouds here are the most dramatic and beautiful clouds I've ever seen. They add drama and contrast to the skyline. I obsessed with them all day.

For dinner, we ate at a steakhouse that was a bit unmemorable. Hopefully there will be comment-worthy food to come. Also ahead: a trip to the reflective bean. Get excited!

  1. Love Chicago! I lived there right after undergrad, when I was 22-24. If you're looking for a neighborhood restaurant and love BBQ ribs, Twin Anchors is the best. It's on the corner of Sedgwick and Eugenie in Lincoln Park (just north of North Avenue). I've never had anything but the ribs there. Brad swears that they're the best he's ever had (and that's saying a lot because he's eaten a lot of ribs). Have fun!
